24 artists began the Dora 2011 journey earlier this year, and week by week contestants have been eliminated and voted out by the Croatian televoting public. Last weekend, Daria Kinzer and Jacques Houdek learned that they had both made it through to tonight's final.
Three composers had each been commissioned to write a song especially for the Dora final, and earlier this week, Croatian broadcaster HRT announced the titles of the three songs competing tonight (Composers name in brackets) :-
- Lahor (Boris Djordjević)
- Stotinama Godina (Ante Pecotić)
- Jos Ima Nas (Lea Dekleva)
Jacques Houdek and Daria Kinzer will each perform all three songs. In the first round, one song will be selected for each of the finalists by a combined method of jury voting and televoting. The Croatian televoting public will then decide which of the two so called winning combinations will represent Croatia in Düsseldorf.
