Italy wins Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014

The Italian song,Tu Primo Grande Amore performed by Vincenzo Cantiello and won with 159 points. Receiving the second prize was Krisia, Hasan and Ibrahim from Bulgaria  whilst Betty from Armenia took third place.

The scoreboard was as follows:

  5. Russia: Dreamer sung by Alisa Kozhikina.  96 Points
  6. Ukraine: Spring Will Come sung Sympho-Nick . 74 Points
  7. Belarus: Sokal (Falcon) sung by Nadezhda Misyakova. 71 Points
  8. Netherlands: Around sung by Julia. 70 Points
  9. Cyprus: I Pio Omorfi Mera- The Most Beautiful Day sung by Sophia Patsalides 69 Points
  10. Serbia: Svet U Mojim Očima / World In My Eyes sung by Emiliija Djonin. 61 Points
  11. Georgia Happy Day sung by Lizi Japaridze (Lizi Pop). 54 Points

It is the first ime that Italy has won the event, as it is their debut appearance in the contest.
