After one week of entertainment, music performances, top international guests, comedy and skyrocketing viewing figures, tonight it was time for the final of Festival di Sanremo 2016.

All 16 finalists of Campioni performed again and were voted by a mixture of 40% televote, 30% expert jury and 30% demoscopic jury. The Top 3 was announced and the three-way voting was opened again:

  • Giovanni Caccamo & Deborah Iurato - Via da qui
  • Francesca Michielin - Nessun grado di separazione
  • Stadio - Un giorno mi dirai

The winner of this last round of votes, Stadio, was crowned the winner of Sanremo 2016 but won't take advantage of the opportunity to represent Italy in the next Eurovision Song Contest.
