Israel will host a special promotional event for the Eurovision Song Contest next month, Israel Calling. It is the third year in a row that the event has been held and will see dozens of participants from the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest travel to Tel Aviv for a special Eurovision concert.

Israel Calling returns for the third year and will take place between 8th and 11th April 2018. Last year 28 countries participated in the event and this year the organisers are hoping to make it the biggest yet.

The Israel Calling project, initiated and produced by Tali Eshkoli, takes place in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, the Ministry of Tourism, KKL, Herzliya Municipality and Tel Aviv Municipality – the host city.

Who's in for 2018?

More than 25 acts have confirmed their participation in Israel Calling 2018 with more expected in the coming days. The full list of participants will be published on the official social media channels of Israel Calling on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. A special competition has also been launched where entrants can enter for the chance to win a special VIP package for Israel Calling 2018. Visit the Facebook page for more details.

Producer of Israel Calling, Tali Eshkoli, said: "Once again the State of Israel opens its gates and welcomes dozens of leading artists and main journalists and TV crews from European media with a big hug for an extraordinary Israeli experience. The Eurovision community all over Europe follows the event in order to see the artists perform in front of the loving Israel crowd. I am happy that we have such a wonderful opportunity to show the beauty of Israel to the artists and to celebrate Eurovision together that will promote each and every one of the artists in front of potential Israeli voters. Welcome to Israel!"

Israel Calling will take place between 8th and 11th April - Eurovision.tv will be there to bring you exclusive content from behind the scenes.
