The second edition of Israel Calling is due to take place next month in Tel Aviv. Following the success of the event last year more than 25 acts from the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been confirmed so far. The event will take place in between 3rd and 6th April.

The project, initiated and produced by Tali Eshkoli, is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, The Jewish National Fund, Herzliya Municipality, the “StandWithUs” organisation and of course - the Tel Aviv Municipality – the host city of the event.

The artists participating in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will arrive in Israel for a four-day excursion taking in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Herzliya. As is now customary, participants will also plant trees before the highlight of the event takes place, the live concert, on 5th April. All participating artists will perform their song live for both fans and press.

Last year's edition of Israel Calling was nothing but a success! Of course, Eurovision.tv was there:

Tali Eshkoli, initiator and producer of the project said; "We are delighted that such a huge amount of Eurovision artists confirmed their participation in our event and we are excited to know that they are waiting for their upcoming visit to Israel. All of them are waiting to perform their songs for the Israeli audience, as well as the local and international media. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the artists and journalists to come to Israel, enjoy their stay and see our beautiful landscapes and sites and meet the people".

Eurovision.tv will be covering the event in 2017 and for information about Israel Calling visit the official Facebook page.
