Interview with the first ever winner Lys Assia
17 May 2011 at 00:20 CESTLys Assia was born in March, 1926. She represented her native Switzerland in the first three editions of Europe's Favourite Tv Show, performing no less than four different entries.

1958: Giorgio (Second)
Lys Assia was the first of only three winners to defend their title in the following year. The others being Corry Brokken in 1958 and Lena in 2011.
Eurovision.tv took the opportunity to meet her and talk about how the contest has changed over the decades.
