Ilinca ft. Alex Florea will represent Romania in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

Earlier this year Ilinca and Alex won the Romanian national selection and will represent the country in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with the song 'Yodel It!'
Ilinca comes from a family of musicians and she has been studying music since she was seven years old. She is no stranger to musical competitions having taken part in The X Factor and when she was 16, The Voice of Romania.Â
Like Ilinca, Alex also participated in The X Factor as well as The Voice of Romania. He started singing when he was 16 and was mentored by Mihai Traistariu, who represented Romania in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.Â
"We love the fact that our song is very diverse, we combine rock, rap and yodelling to express ourselves and we believe that shows how much we love music", said Ilinca. "As we are performing, we are always trying to share the positive vibes and the sheer joy of being on stage with the public", she added.Â
