Iceland: We will never forget this experience

26 May 2012 at 19:43 CEST

Gréta Salóme & Jónsi told Eurovision.tv that they have thoroughly enjoyed their time in Baku at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. They have done many things, including visiting local markets and sightseeing, had a press up competition outside the arena in front of the press, and been interviewed by the new puppet phenomenen Terryvision!. You can see a short compilation below.

Iceland has qualified for the Final of Europe's Favourite TV Show every year since 2008, and finished as runners up in 2009. We asked Jónsi what would happen if Iceland won tonight, given that the team are due to be at the airport directly after the show ends. He said "Well, we have all of our cases packed on the bus, we will be basically ready to go to the airport right from the Crystal Hall, but if we were to win then we might have to change our plans!."

Gréta recorded a special video tribute as a thank you to several people for helping with the experiences in Baku. You can see this video below:-

Iceland perform in position number seven in tonight's Final. The last time they were drawn in this position, Yohanna finished in second place. Could this be an omen for Gréta Salóme & Jónsi.
