08 February 2008 at 23:40 CET

The fifteen acts who had been selected by the expert jury were presented to the Hungarian audience this evening in the show to decide  who would represent  Hungary in Belgrade. The voting system was split between a professional jury and televoting with the collective votes added together to establish who would be victorious. After the juries had given their votes Adrien Szekeres held a one point lead over Csézy.

A fifteen minute televoting window then opened allowing viewers to express their opinions. There was confusion prior to the final announcement of the winner. In the end Csézy emerged victorious with her song Szívverés  (Heartbeat).

Csézy  has enjoyed recent popularity with her latest album which is still in the Hungarian top 40 album charts. For further information about Csézy follow the link to her official website.
