How do you build a national final stage?

Imagine erecting a stage, lighting, rigging, cameras; laying cables, setting up sound and broadcast systems, not just once but four times in the space of a month. Well, that is what happens in Norway where this year the annual Melodi Grand Prix tour has already visited Steinkjer and Florø and tomorrow night will kick off in Larvik before the final next Saturday in Oslo. The logistics of making this happening are quite mind boggling!

The secret is to design a stage that is easy to pack away and rebuild, to keep is simple and to make sure you have a huge team of technicians that know what they are doing!
