Hovi Star to represent Israel in Stockholm

Singer Hovi Star beat three other acts participating in the final of Rising Star, and will represent Israel in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song Made Of Stars. The final was broadcast live from Jerusalem.

The results

The winner tonight was determined solely by the public in Israel by a vote conducted through a mobile app.

Following success of Israel in last year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song Golden Boy, which saw Israel qualify for the Grand Final for the first time since 2010, Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) decided to collaborate again with Rising Star, the original talent format of Tedy Productions and Keshet Broadcasting.
