Highway to represent Montenegro!

Montenegro have made their choice for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest: A professional jury has unanimously decided that the band Highway should represent the country in Stockholm. They became popular after their participation in the X Factor Adria talent show, where they gained the fourth place.

Highway consists of Petar Tošić, Marko Pešić and Luka Vojvodić. While their participation in X Factor Adria made them popular, they presented their first single Bar na kratko in this year's Sunčane Skale festival, where they came third in the New Stars section. You can listen to the song on Youtube.

A professional jury took the unanimous decision that Highway should represent Montenegro in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. The jury consisted of Dragan Tripković, Nada Vučinić, Slaven Knezović and Milorad Šule Jovović, all members of the Council of Montenegrin public broadcaster RTCG.

In this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Montenegro had come 13th in the Grand Final with Adio, performed by Knez - their best result to date.
