Hera Björk will represent Iceland in Malmö

11 March 2024 at 18:00 CET
Hera Björk triumphed in the 2024 edition of 'Söngvakeppnin', with the song 'Scared Of Heights', and has been confirmed as Iceland's participant for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Five songs competed in the Söngvakeppnin final, with two songs from that lineup being voted through to a 'superfinal'. In the end, the last two standing were Hera Björk's Scared of Heights and Bashar Murad's Wild West

A combination of a jury vote and a public vote had scored the 5 songs in the final and decided which two songs would end up in the superfinal. But it was solely a public vote that ultimately decided the winner of the 2024 edition of Söngvakeppnin.

Scared Of Heights is the song that the Icelandic people have chosen as their winner, performed by the artist Hera Björk.
