Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest

Greece first entered the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 but until the country won in 2005, it had only finished in the top five on four occasions. The new millennium saw a reversal in Greece's fortunes in the contest which saw the country achieve its first victory and an unprecedented string of top ten finishes. Since the semi-finals were introduced Greece has only once failed to qualify for the Grand Final.

Gianna Terzi will perform in the second half of the First Semi-Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on Tuesday 8th May.
