The 9 acts in the running to represent Germany at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest ARD

On Friday 3 March, German television viewers will be able to vote for the song they want to represent them at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest. Unser Lied für Liverpool will be broadcast as part of the popular German television programme Das Erste

The evening of Eurovision Song Contest entertainment will be hosted by an iconic presenter who has long been a beloved part of Germany's association with the Contest: Barbara Schöneberger. And another familiar face to Eurovision Song Contest fans will be part of the interval act: Ilse DeLange, who is one half of The Netherlands' entry to the Contest in 2014, The Common Linnets, will perform alongside German group The BossHoss.

In the show, a total of 8 entries will compete. Back in January, the German broadcaster revealed the first of those acts, which had been selected by both the broadcaster's Eurovision Song Contest team, as well as an advisory panel of national and international music experts. These artists were: Will Church, Frida Gold, Patty Gurdy, TRONG, Lord of the Lost, René Miller, Annica Russo and Lonely Spring.

The final act was then selected via TikTok, with users of the platform voting for their favourite song from a shortlist of 6. The winner of the TikTok selection was the artist Ikke Hüftgold.

Once all 8 entries have been performed on Friday night, it's time for the results! Scoring will be done by both an international jury vote and a public vote, with each contributing 50% of the points.

Making up a part of this public vote is the online voting for Unser Lied für Liverpool. Voting is currently open, is free and people can vote from anywhere in the world. All voters must stream a recap of the competing entries before casting their vote. This online voting can be done right here, with the process remaining open until 22:00 CET on the night of the broadcast.
