Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz will represent Georgia in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. In an open competition, songwriters have sent in their songs. Now the voting window for the TV public to decide the entry for Stockholm has opened. You can already watch the video clips of all the songs online - check them out!
The five songs chosen by an expert commission out of more than 100 entries have been presented during the Communicator show on GPB's First Channel for the first time today:
Sugar And Milk - written by Gia Iashvili
Midnight Gold - written by Kote Kalandadze
Right Of Wrong - written by Sandro Sulakvelidze
Pain In My Heart - written by Giorgi Sikharulidze
Weagree - written by Nika Kocharov and Vazha Marri
Now the TV viewers can vote for their favourite song - voting closes on February 15th. At the same time, an international expert jury is also evaluating the songs.
In the end, the combined 50/50 vote will decide with which song Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz will represent Georgia in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. The result of the voting will be announced in the Communicator show on February 15th.
