The stars of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest shined extra brightly at St. George's Hall in Liverpool - as the Turqouise Carpet was rolled out for the official Opening Ceremony.

On Sunday 7 March, St. George's Hall in Liverpool hosted the official Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.

Hosts Timur Miroshnychenko and Sam Quek welcomed each of our 37 participating acts as they stepped out onto the Turquoise Carpet looking radiant while wearing their Sunday finest.

The Eurovision Song Contest photography team was on hand to snap all of the entrances, the looks and the serves. The team captured the acts in all their glory on the steps outside St. George's Hall, and you can find the stunning set of images right here.

On top of that, the team also guided our 37 participants inside, into the resplendent Concert Room of Liverpool's St. George's Hall. Once there, the performers posed for a set of portraits like no other - putting to full use all of that time they'd spent in hair and makeup that morning.
