FYR Macedonia: National semi-final entries announced

A total of 126 songs were entered for this year's Skopje Festival, the FYR Macedonian national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Out of these, a jury picked the 28 best ones. While a list of all songtitles had already been published on the 30th of December, the full list of performers has only been announced today.

Each of the two semi-finals, to take place on the 18th and 19th of February, will feature 14 entries. The top eight of each semi-final will make it to the final, to be broadcast on the 20th of February. All songs will be performed in Macedonian language. These are the 28 semi-final entries (the draw of the running order will only be decided in the beginning of February during a special TV show):

  11. Verica Pandilovska - Bravo 
  12. Vlatko Ilievski - Denes Kako Si 
  13. Nade Talevska - Nemoj Da Si Sebičen 
  14. Kristijan Jovanovski - Nikoj Na Ovoj Svet 
  15. Igor Mitrović - Malečka 
  16. Vodolija - Solza 
  17. Maja Vukičević - Fama 
  18. Daniel Stojmanovski - Akcija Reakcija 
  19. Boyan Aleksovski - Beli Konji 
  20. Dimitar Andonovski - Angeli

The winner will be decided by a 50/50 combination of televoting and the verdict of an expert jury. All three shows will be broadcast live via satellite on MKTV Sat.
