France: Top composers for Anggun

22 January 2012 at 20:25 CET

France Télévisions are releasing some information concerning the song that Anggun will sing in Azerbaijan on the 26th of May.

The French broadcaster asked both William Rousseau and Jean-Pierre Pilot to compose the song that will represent France at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Rousseau and Pilot are the French songwriters who currently enjoy a huge success with Ça Ira Mon Amour.

Ça Ira Mon Amour is the main title of the musical 1789, les amants de la Bastille and reached the top of the French charts some weeks ago, performed by Rod Janois. Having the most successful French authors of the moment involved in the Eurovision Song Contest is definitely a great achievement for France Télévisions.

While we wait for the official presentation of the French entry for Baku, whose title is Echo (You & I), you can check out on the video clip of Ça Ira Mon Amour in competition for the NRJ Music Awards.
