Four songs qualify in fifth Slovak quarter-final

In the Slovak national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, a total of six quarter-finals, two semi-finals and one big final will take place over the next few weeks. Ten songs were performed in tonight's fifth quarter final, four out of which qualified for the semi-finals. This is the list of participants of tonight's round (qualifiers in bold):

  • Smola A Hrušky – Pridaj Si Ma (12,1%)
  • Vierka Ayisi – Je Čas Zabávať Sa (2,2%)
  • Bystrík – Slnko Nespáli (2,7%)
  • Arzén - Keď Som Išiel Za Ránky (5,7%)
  • Sunlips - Správy V Splne (11,5%)
  • Marcel Berky - Kým Sa Dá (1,1%)
  • Dáška Kostovčik - Dážď (11,6%)
  • Robert Mikla - Voda A Oheň (12,0%)
  • Kristina - Horehronie (36,7%)
  • Exponent - Zveste Lásku Z Kríža (4,5%)

Martin "Pyco" Rausch was the presenter of tonight's show, with Martin Kontur supporting him with interviews from the "green room". The outcome of the quarter final was wholly decided by SMS voting. The last out of six quarter-finals will take place on Sunday, the 7th of February.
