Five acts proceed to final in Belarus

An internal committee selected 15 acts to compete in the semi-final of Eurofest 2009. Last night, a jury picked five lucky ones to compete again in the next and final round;

  • Petr Yelfimov - Eye, That Never Lie (P. Yelfimov, V. Prokhozhy)
  • Litesound - Miracle (V. Karyakin)
  • Gunesh - Fantastic Girl (Gunesh, M. Khaitbayeva)
  • Dominica - My Day (S. Sukhomlin, A. Kostugov)
  • Wind In The Head - And-Or-And (A. Zakharik, G. Galushko)

The live show was opened by Dasha Nadina (12), Alina Molash (11) and Karyna Zhukovich (12), who represented Belarus at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Cyprus with Sertse Belarusi. 

By the rules, the qualified artists are allowed to sing a different song in the national final. Through televoting, viewers at home will decide who will represent Belarus in Moscow.
