The first winning artist to be met by the television crews was the Lithuanian singer Andrius Pojavas, who was delighted to have qualified.
Many fans were thrilled that the Netherlands has finally reached the final for the first time since 2004, and Anouk had the most nervous wait of all the ten qualifiers as she was the last artist to book her place in the final.
Then the artists were coming through thick and fast, and television crews were keen to get quotes from each and every artist. As one of the favourites, Emmelie de Forest was surrounded by camera crews and was answering her questions in Danish initially, but she revealed that she thought her performance this evening was the best she had ever done, and the atmosphere was electric in the venue.
Ryan Dolan from Ireland had mentioned in his press conference that he might reveal his six-pack if he reached the final. Well he's not quite prepared to do it just yet, mainly because his vest is stitched into his stage outfit, but he was thrilled to have made the final.
The Belarus singer, Alyona Lanskava was on the phone back home to Minsk, receiving congratulation messages.
After his experience last night in the Jury Final, Roberto Bellarosa was somewhat relieved and delighted to have reached the Grand Final for Belgium.
The Ukrainian artist, Zlata Ognevich was the ninth artist to be revealed as a qualifier for the final and she admitted that the waiting was a very anxious time.
Birgit from Estonia is expecting ehr first child later this year, so she was thrilled to have reached the Final, being one of two great events for her this year.
