For the fifth year in a row, Europe’s biggest Eurovision promo event Eurovision in Concert will take place in the Netherlands. Amsterdam will once again be the event’s host city and several contestants in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest are expected to rain down on the Dutch capital. The date for this year’s edition is set as Saturday, the 13th of April.
As usual the event consists out of 2 parts: a day program (for press only) and a concert, which will be held at Melkweg; one of Amsterdam’s most popular music venues – located in the heart of the city centre. The concert will be hosted this year by 2 former Dutch Eurovision representatives: Marlayne Sahupala (1999) and Linda Wagenmakers (2000).
