Finland: YLE very pleased with sent demos

According to Terhi Norvasto from YLE, they are very pleased with the outcome.

"There is a great variety of different music styles and a good mix of ballads, up-tempo and show numbers in the Finnish selection this year," she told Eurovision.tv

The songs will be published on YLE's renewed website on 3rd of December and the compilation CD with all the 12 songs will be released at the beginning of January.

She also commented that the ticket sales for the Finnish final, which also started last Saturday, are going very well.

In this year's Finnish selection three semi-finals will be held on 9th, 16th and 23rd of January and the final will take place at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre 31st of January.

Finland has been quite successful the past years at the Eurovision Song Contest, winning the event in 2006 and also qualifying for the final this year in Belgrade with Teräsbetoni's Missä Miehet Ratsastaa
