The Finnish final this year consists of three Semi-Finals with four songs each of which the top-two qualify for the final. Two more acts will then be found in a so-called Second Chance round so that the total number of songs in the final will amount to eight.
The four songs in the Finnish final tonight were (qualifiers in bold):
- Sani - Doctor, Doctor
- Passionworks feat. Tony Turunen - Surrender
- Remu - Planeetta
- Waldo's People - Lose Control
Remu and Waldo's People will meet Tapani Kansa and Kwan in the final who already qualified during last week's first semi-final. The third and last semi-final will take place next Friday, the 23rd of January.
