Belarusian national broadcaster, BTRC, has revealed the 11 finalists that will compete for the right to represent the country in Lisbon in May. In total 93 applications were received and the finalists were selected by the professional jury following auditions.
Eurovision history was made in Belarus last year when the Belarusian language was performed on the Eurovision stage for the first time. Naviband's Story Of My Life took the country to the final for the first time since 2014. The Belarusian national selection for Eurovision 2018 will be held on Friday 16th February with the winner being decided by a combination of public and jury votes.

Eurovision comes to Belarus
Belarus is hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November 2018. The country has participated in every single edition of the competition since it began in 2003. Belarus joined the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 and achieved its best placing in the Grand Final, sixth, in 2007.
