Fan reactions before the Second Semi-Final

One volunteer from Azerbaijan told us that she is supporting Sweden in tonight’s show. “She has such a strong voice. I get goose bumps every time I listen to the song.” Another volunteer likes Gaitana from Ukraine very much.

Some Russian journalists are keeping their fingers crossed for the Estonian participant Ott Lepland. Eurovision.tv also met the Dutch fans who were wearing the Indian head dresses. Some fans came to the press centre with the Serbian, Norwegian and F.Y.R. Macedonian flags.

"Actually, I think that the Balkan countries will have a good chance of proceeding to the Final, as five of them are participating here and have some big names involved" thinks one Spanish fan. "Other countries that will probably qualify in my opinion are Sweden, Ukraine and Turkey".

One member of the Spanish media suggested what for him could be surprise qualifiers: "These are not my favourite songs but The Netherlands and Lithuania make good performances, and will Loreen from Sweden fulfill the expectations of the fans and media?" he pointed out, "that'll be interesting to check out".
