In the last night’s music show Press Play broadcasted on the MRT, Tijana has announced that her song presentation for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on February 22nd. The singer will perform in a special edition of the music show The Hit of The Month hosted by Aleksandra Jovanovska and Marko Mark. The show will be broadcast on the official site of MKRTV.
Pobeda is the working title of Tijana’s entry for the Europe’s favourite music show. The author of the song is Darko Dimitrov. Tijana is very happy to work together with him. "I've been working with Darko for 14 years. We are very successful as a team, and I always knew that something big would happen to us", Tijana said in her exclusive interview last night.
Darko Dimitrov is a famous record producer, songwriter and arranger from F.Y.R. Macedonia. He produced and composed Ninanajna for the F.Y.R. Macedonian entry in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Darko is also a co-writer and co-composer of Pred Da Se Razdeni that Esma and Lozano performed in Malmö last year.
Tijana’s song presentation will be broadcast on the official site of MKRTV. "We are preparing a special edition of the music show The Hit Of The Month which became very popular in our country. Considering the fact that there is a huge interest in the national selections all over Europe, we will try to satisfy the curiosity of the Eurovision fans and to present our artist in the best possible way, with dynamic stage performance, the studio recording of the song and some other surprises for the audience", Meri Popova, the Head of Delegation from F.Y.R. Macedonia explained to eurovision.tv.

About Tijana Dapčević
Tijana was born on February 3rd, 1976 in Skopje, F.Y.R. Macedonia. Music has been her constant companion since childhood. Tijana started playing cello at the age of seven. In 1999 she has got a degree in cello at the Faculty of Music in Skopje.
The artist has worked as a theatre actress and a television and radio announcer. In 2002, Tijana has moved to Belgrade and a year after her first album Kao Da.. was released by The City Records. Tijana has participated in many music festivals such as Sunčane Skale (1st place in 2002.), Pjesma Mediterana (1st place in 2005.), Radijski Festival (1st place in 2006).
During all these years, Tijana has released five albums and even managed to fulfill her long time wish as a theatre actress. The only wish she hasn’t fulfilled yet is to get a role in a movie.
