Eurovision wildcards revealed in Slovenia

In a press conference in Ljubljana on Friday, Slovenian TV RTVSLO revealed the seven invited wildcards. The broadcaster also presented the draw for the running order of the selections. The wildcards, being directly qualified for the national final, consist of the following artists and song titles, given in the running order for the final:

2. Nuša Derenda – Sanjajva
4. Tangels – Kaj In Kam
6. Anastazija Juvan – Nežna Izpod Prstov
8. Hamo In Gal – Èrni Konj Èez Nebo
10. Stereotipi – Daj Mi En Znak
12. Vlado Pilja – Tudi Fantje Joèejo
14. Lea Sirk – Vampir Je Moj Poet

Nuša Derenda, entering the EMA 2010 with the song Sanjajva, performed the Slovenian entry Energy in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, achieving 7th place.

The final of EMA 2010 is preceded by a semi-final, called EMA Predizbor. The semi-final is to be broadcast on the 20th of February, a Saturday, with the final taking place the following day. Friday's press conference also revealed the running order of the semi final:

9. Maro Vozelj – Maj Si Zrak
10. Petra Pečovnik – Iz Nevade
11. Martina Feri & Tomaž Nedoh – Le En Dan
