Eurovision Village takes shape in the heart of Kyiv

01 May 2017 at 14:28 CEST
The Eurovision Village, the official fan zone of the Eurovision Song Contest, will open in the centre of Kyiv on Thursday 4th May.

Construction work is currently under way on the Eurovision Village. Located in the centre of Kyiv, metres away from Maidan Square, the site will host the largest Eurovision stage outside of the venue.

The location will be divided into three main sections; a zone for official sponsors, a food court and the main stage zone. The entrance to the Eurovision Village is free of charge but a security check will be required.

The live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest will be screened at the Eurovision Village and a concert featuring Ukrainian artists will be held ahead of the Grand Final on 13th May. Participants from the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will also perform at the Eurovision Village over the coming week.
