Eurovision.tv in Belgrade!

The weather may be a bit cloudy here in Belgrade but many fans are excited to be here to follow the preparations for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The press center was opened today and host broadcaster RTS has done a splendid job merging the latest technologies with the 1970s design of the Sava Center. Lots of computers have been installed to meet the requirements of the thousands of journalists and fans who will arrive during the next days. But not only the technical equipment will please in Sava Center, there will be spacious lounges to relax and to follow the rehearsals from the Belgrade Arena.

In the Belgrade Arena, dozens of people are giving the finishing touch to the breathtaking stage. The latest technology is being used to give the audience at home and in the hall three thrilling shows - two semi-finals and the grand final - on the 20th, 22nd and 24th of May respectively. 

The first rehearsals will kick off tomorrow morning with the first half of first semi-final trying to find the right sound-level and the perfect camera angles for their songs. Of course, the whole team of Eurovision.tv will be there to give you reports, gossip, photos, video-recordings and much more.
