Eurovision.tv gets ready for Super Saturday

Before Super Saturday, it's up to host country Serbia to pick its entry for upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. This Tuesday, 20 songs will take part in the semi-final of Beovizija 2008. TV viewers and the jury will decide which 10 songs will qualify for the final on Wednesday. The 2008 Eurovision Song Contest representatives of Slovenia and Montenegro, Rebeka Dremelj and Stefan Filipovic, will perform as interval acts. In addition, awards will be given to the best male and female singer, best band and best song. The final of Beovizija 2008 will be broadcast live by Eurovision.tv's esctv

On Saturday, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Ireland, Poland, Romania and Ukraine will pick their song for Belgrade. In Ireland, it's the controversial Dustin the Turkey taking the lead in the polls, while Ukraine will see super star Ani Lorak performing four songs. Both in Romania and Poland, a Swedish act is shortlisted to take part in the national final.
