In less than a week the Spanish branch of the OGAE club will organise its 8th convention in Barcelona. The reunion will feature performances from five artists that have taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest, like Ott Leppland who represented Estonia in Baku last year with Kuula placing 6th:
Also from the 2012 contest in Baku, the Spanish entrant Pastora Soler who just released her new album Conóceme. In Azerbaijan she placed inside the Top 10 with Quédate Conmigo:
In 2008 the Eurovision Song Contest was held in Belgrade and the home entry was Oro, performed by Jelena Tomasevic. and composed by the presenter of that event, Željko Joksimović. Jelena got a 6th place and will also be in Barcelona:
Ten years ago in Riga, the honour of opening of the Eurovision Song Contest fell to Iceland and the song Open Your Heart, performed by Birgitta Haukdal reaching 8th place. She recently performed at the Eurovision concert in Portugal and will also be performing in Barcelona.
And the last guest has also performed in the Eurovision stage, but not as a competitor but as part of the interval act. It was during this year's Final in Malmö. It is the Swedish star Sarah Dawn Finer, who performed ABBA's The Winner Takes It All, and of course also toured us through her country as the "EBU official host" Lynda Woodruff.
