Eurovision on Tour to bring winners, icons and favourites to fans
30 July 2024 at 14:08 CEST
A brand-new Eurovision-related experience, conceived by Eurodrama Entertainment SL, will be launching at the end of 2024.
With the aim of bringing the music and artists of the Eurovision Song Contest closer to fans, a new concert series - Eurovision On Tour - will commence in October and run until January 2025. The live events are set to take place in 5 cities across Europe and 3 in Australia, with more dates and destinations to be added soon.
Eurodrama Entertainment SL, the production company behind events such as Barcelona Eurovision Party and Nordic Eurovision Party, have already revealed the names of over a dozen artists who have previously competed at the Eurovision Song Contest and are now confirmed to be taking part in the inaugural Eurovision On Tour.
On Thursday 25 July, the organisers announced the first artist of Eurovision 2024 to be taking part in the tour after participating in Malmö. Silia Kapsis, who represented Cyprus at the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, will be coming along on the series of live shows to perform her song Liar for the Eurovision fans that got introduced to her in May.
Silia joins a lineup that already includes the likes of Eurovision winners Carola, Emmelie de Forest and Linda Martin, as well as recent fan faves such as The Roop, Destiny and Sunstroke Project.
More names are promised to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
As well as a live concert brought to you by a lineup of Eurovision Song Contest luminaries, attendees can expect an interactive experience throughout a show that is set to last almost three hours. And as well as the concert zone, where the show will take place, organisers have also teased a fan zone where stage props, legendary outfits and a replica of the iconic glass trophy will be displayed.
After the show, the party continues; organisers have teamed up with some OGAE clubs to arrange after parties, where audiences can continue to dance the night away to floor-filling Eurovision tunes from down through the decades.
