'Eurovision Canada' will join the family in 2023 🇨🇦
25 April 2022 at 18:45 CESTArtists from each of the 10 provinces and three territories, representing every musical genre imaginable, will compete with all new original songs live on Eurovision Canada.
Some of the most popular and powerful songs in the world have been written by Canadians – from Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Carly Rae Jepsen, Robbie Robertson, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Gordon Lightfoot, k.d. lang, Sarah McLachlan, The Tragically Hip, and Shania Twain, to Justin Bieber, Drake, and The Weeknd, to name just a small selection.

And, of course, Céline Dion from Charlemagne, won the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland with Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi.
Eurovision Canada will benefit from this long tradition of incredible songwriters and celebrate the best contemporary Canadian talent.
The format will position artists head-to-head against other provincial/territorial representatives in a series of televised Qualifier Competitions, leading to Semi-Finals and the ultimate primetime Grand Finale.
