During the Press Conference following the live show, each qualifying country’s act drew the half of the running order that they will perform in during the Grand Final.
Eurovision Song Contest 2022: First Semi-Final Qualifiers:
🇨🇭 Switzerland / Marius Bear – Boys Do Cry
Switzerland will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
🇦🇲 Armenia / Rosa Linn – Snap
Armenia will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
🇮🇸 Iceland / Systur – Með Hækkandi Sól
Iceland will perform in the second half of the Grand Final.
🇱🇹 Lithuania / Monika Lui – Sentimental
Lithuania will perform in the second half of the Grand Final.
🇵🇹 Portugal / MARO – Saudade Saudade
Portugal will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
🇳🇴 Norway / Subwoolfer – Give That Wolf A Banana
Norway will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
🇬🇷 Greece / Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord – Die Together
Greece will perform in the second half of the Grand Final.
🇺🇦 Ukraine / Kalush Orchestra – Stefania
Ukraine will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
🇲🇩 Moldova / Zdob și Zdub & Advahov Brothers – Trenulețul
Moldova will perform in the second half of the Grand Final.
🇳🇱 Netherlands / S10 – De Diepte
Netherlands will perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
And, of course, with all the celebrations comes a little heartbreak too… the seven acts that did not qualify are:

🇱🇻 Latvia / Citi Zēni – Eat Your Salad
🇸🇮 Slovenia / LPS – Disko
🇧🇬 Bulgaria / Intelligent Music Project – Intention
🇭🇷 Croatia / Mia Dimšić – Guilty Pleasure
🇩🇰 Denmark / Reddi – The Show
🇦🇹 Austria / LUM!X feat. Pia Maria – Halo
…though they won’t be joining us on stage this Saturday, they will forever remain a part of the fantastic line-up of songs and artists we’ve enjoyed in the 2022 Contest.

How the result was decided
The Semi-Final result was determined through a combination of jury and televotes. The televote took place during the live broadcast of the show and the jury cast their vote while watching the Second Dress Rehearsal that was held on the evening of Monday 9 May.
The 17 participating countries, as well as France and Italy, were voting in this Semi Final.
The 10 successful qualifiers will join the Big Five in the Grand Final on Saturday 14 May.
