Jørgen Franck, Director ad interim of Eurovision TV, noted that the Azerbaijani organisers do their very best to prepare a joyful event in May next year.
"We have a good co-operation with the Host Broadcaster, Ictimai TV," Jon Ola Sand, the Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest added. "We talked about a broad range of topics the past days, the most prominent ones being communications and security."
At the meeting, Ictimai TV presented their communication plan for the upcoming edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, including launching a national website for Europe's favourite TV-show.
Also, like every year, the organisers put a significant effort into security and safety of all fans, media and delegates during the event weeks. For that, at yesterday's meeting this side was discussed, taken into consideration the experience gained in Düsseldorf, at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
The 2012 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan on the 22nd, 24th and 26th of May after their duo Ell/Nikki won the contest in 2011 with their song Running Scared.
