23 December 2013 at 12:09 CET

Thousands of incredibly creative fans and viewers have tweeted and commented since the opening of the campaign that will help to come up with one of the interval acst of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.

"I had not imagined it would go so quickly to so many ideas," Jan Lagermand Lundme says. "There was one who wrote: "One word: Vikings". Another suggested a giant aquarium on stage with mermaids. These are two of my personal favourites. And then there are really many who would like to see the Irish Eurovision twins Jedward again," he continues.

How you can help:

  1. Think of an idea for the ultimate interval act for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest
  2. Share your idea on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram - and use the hashtag #MyEurovisionIdea
  3. Remember that your status on Facebook to be public, and your privacy settings must be set to public on Instagram, so DR can see your suggestion
  4. The most amazing ideas become reality on TV in May 2014!

You can send in your ideas till the 31st of January. You can also read how it works exactly on JoinUs.dk.

Ask for wild ideas

Many viewers would like a reunion with old stars like ABBA, Celine Dion and the first Eurovision Song Contest winner, the almost 90-year-old Lys Assia, who herself has tweeted about the campaign.

"There are many who write about previous winners and I understand that. But we also want to have some even wilder ideas. Suggestions for something you've never seen before on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest. Then we will make it happen," the Show Producer promises.

Until the end of January, TV viewers across Europe give their best and funniest suggestions on how one of the interval acts of next year's Eurovision Song Contest should look like.
