Eugent Bushpepa to represent Albania at Eurovision 2018!

Eugent Bushpepa will represent Albania in 2018 RTSH
Eugent Bushpepa has won the 56th edition of Festivali i Këngës, the Albanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Eugent will perform the song 'Mall' at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon.

The 56th edition of Festivali i Këngës took place over the last three evenings in Tirana. Two semi-finals were held ahead of the live final which was the 15th time that the competition has been used to determine the Albanian Eurovision entry. 

A professional jury selected the Albanian entry for Eurovision and they opted for Eugent Bushpepa, read more about him here. Eugent was born in 1984 and began his musical career in 2006. You can also follow him on Facebook.

Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest

Albania made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. Last year Lindita flew the Albanian flag on the Eurovision stage with the song World.

The best placing for Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest came in 2012 when Rona Nishliu finished fifth with the song Suus.
