Estonia says goodbye to yesterday

11 May 2015 at 18:20 CEST
Stig Rästa and Elina Born represented Estonia in Vienna Andres Putting (EBU)
Both arriving in denim, it was apparent that Elina Born & Stig Rästa were a close-knit team. Today Estonia had their first rehearsal on the Vienna stage at the Wiener Stadthalle.

The Estonian delegation was relaxed when they arrived at the Wiener Stadthalle, full of anticipation and excited to present their song on the fantastic stage for the very first time. It was selfie's all round for Elina Born & Stig Rästa who were joking and talking to the press.

"I'm not sure if it is unlucky or not"

The Estonian dressing room was number 13, something remarked upon by Stig Rästa, who said he wasn't sure if it was unlucky or not. He also went on to say that him and Elina were spending some time getting used to their surroundings in the arena as it was there first time there.

Shadows and a cityscape

The Estonian performance contains an impressive array of graphics, from shadows to an impressive selection of skyscrapers silhouetting against the large LED screen. The colours are chiefly dark, white accents of white and lighter colours, aiming to produce an impression of a night-time scene.

Sting and Elina were both wearing their stage costumes today, the sort of outfits you would expect people to wear when going for a night out at a very exclusive venue. Stig is wearing a dark suit, white shirt and dark tie and a pair of white casual shoes. Elina is wearing a stylish dark jumpsuit with a silver belt.
