Emmelie de Forest's whirlwind year started back in January when she won the Danish national selection Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song Only Teardrops. The song then went on to achieve a convincing victory at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö before subsequently becoming a hit in many European countries, including the likes of Germany and the United Kingdom.
Now Emmelie is ready to move on to the next level with the release of her new single, Hunter & Prey. The song has been penned by Emmelie herself together with Lise Cabble and Jacob Glæsner. Lise was also part of the team that wrote Only Teardrops.
In an interview with Danish broadcaster DR about how she has been getting on since Malmö, Emmelie said she was "excited" about the release of her new single and that "it is always tough when you release a follow up single".
Hunter & Prey has already been released as a track on Emmelie's debut album, Only Teardrops, but today it was officially released as a single and can be purchased by visiting iTunes.
