Born in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia on January 8th, 1990, Sophio  Toroshelidze - the lead vocalist of Eldrine - studied at the Music  College for Remarkable Students established under the umbrella of the  State Conservatory of Tbilisi, where she continued her education after  finishing the college at the Department of Polyphonic Singing and  Conducting. In 2006 Sophio Toroshelidze composed the song Surprised Again,  that won the title of the Best Song of the Year. In 2009 she passed  into the final of the popular Georgian vocal competition - Stars’ Academy.  The same year she started up teaching children and was a selected vocal  coach for participants of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Four of the other members of Eldrine - Mikheil Chelidze (MIKEN) -  Guitar,  Irakli Bibilashvili (BIBO) - Bass Guitar, David Changoshvili  (Chango) -  Drummer and Beso Tsikhelashvili (Dj BE$$) formed a band named  BIOS in  2007 but after three years, they decided to form their current  new band called Eldrine. Tamar  Shekiladze - Keyboard joined them in 2010 and together,  they are this  year's Georgian representatives in the Eurovision Song  Contest.

In the Georgian national final, which took place on February 19th, a 50/50 combination of televoting and  the verdict of an expert jury yielded the result that the band Eldrine  should represent the Caucasian country. Back at that time, the band still had a different lead singer - Tamar Vadachkoria. However, due to contract problems, she was later replaced with Sophio Toroshelidze.

Georgia will be represented in the First Semi-Final of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, to take place on May 10th in Düsseldorf. Watch the official preview video of Eldrine's One More Day here:
