Eduard Romanyuta wins the Moldovan final

Tonight's show was moderated by Olivia Furtună and Sergiu Bezniţchi. Another couple of hosts, Sandu Scobioală and Daniela Babici, were reporting from the green room where the supported and cheered up tonight's 16 finalists.



Cristina Scarlat, the Moldovan representative in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, opened this tonight's show with her song Wild Soul.

The Voting

Eduard Romanyuta was chosen by the joint decision (50/50) of the professional jury and TV viewers. He performed his uptempo song I Want Your Love. You can watch his entry on the official TRM site

In the special entertaining programme different local stars took part. Among them: Igor Stribiţchi and Igor Sîrbu from the group Akord, Natalia Barbu, Tania Cergă, DARA, dancing group Black & White.

Who is Eduard Romanyuta

Eduard Romanyuta is a Ukrainian singer. He participated in the Ukrainian national selections several times in the past. Eduard said that he loves Moldova and wants all Moldovan citizens to love him. He promised to worthily represent Moldova in Vienna. Music of I Want Your Love was written by Erik Lewander and lyrics - by Hayley Aitken and Tom Andrews.
