EBU briefs Armenian television for Junior 2011

The meetings were held at the offices of AMPTV and mainly featured information about administrative, creative and planning aspects of the production.

"Our Armenian colleagues are very committed to a producing an unforgettable Junior Eurovision Song Contest. To achieve that ambitious goal, they adopted a pragmatic way of working and gathered international expertise in the production team," said Sietse Bakker, Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In an interview for the broadcaster's main news programme, Bakker added that the EBU "appreciates the broad support for this event at all levels of Armenian society."

Gohar Gasparyan, the newly appointed head of the Armenian delegation at the Junior- and Eurovision Song Contest, initiated a visit to the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex , where the contest is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of December. 

The Steering Group of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the competition's governing body, is likely to visit Yerevan for its next meeting in mid-April.
