After an exciting competition, a professional jury selected Eugent Bushpepa to represent his country at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Mall, which he wrote and composed himself.
Eugent Bushpepa, who was born in 1984, started singing when he was only six years old. He describes himself as "a creative professional with extensive project experience from concept to development". Besides being so creative, he has a variety of interests, from loving art to supporting human rights. However, music is his religion.
After he finished high school, Eugent left Albania and lived in Italy for a few years. After returning to Albania in 2006 he performed in various nightclubs and pubs. In the same year, he started working for Top Channel Television as a 'resident singer' in a talk show called Top Show. 2006 was also the year in which his career truly kicked off, as he won several awards in Top Fest, a music competition organised by Top Channel in Albania.
Eugent is All Aboard, as he travelled to Lisbon to record his postcard video for the Eurovision Song Contest:
Between 2008 and 2014, Eugent received various renowned awards celebrating his talent. Besides performing in Top Show, he and his band supported several trouing rock bands like Deep Purple in 2007, Duff Mckagan (Guns N’ Roses) in 2011 and Overkill in 2014.
