In the 25th part of 'Destination Lisbon', our feature counting down to the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, we get to know Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer who will represent Poland with the song 'Light Me Up'.

In March, Gromee featuring Lukas Meijer won Krajowe Eliminacje 2018, the Polish national selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The winner was chosen through a combination of both public and jury votes. Read more..

About Gromee

Andrzej Gromala, best known as Gromee, is based in Krakow, Poland. As a DJ and producer he works with international artists and regularly delivers pop and dance radio hits, each reaching millions of audio and video streams online.

Gromee has received double platinum, platinum and gold records for his numerous singles and released his debut album Chapter One in March 2018.

About Lukas Meijer 

Lukas Meijer is a singer-songwriter based in Stockholm, Sweden. Most of his musical life he invested in his band No Sleep For Lucy. With his band he worked with Stevie Aiello (30 Seconds To Mars), Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires) and Grammy nominee Mark Holman (Daughtry, Three Days Grace) — just some of the names Lukas and his band worked with over the years.

Lukas is always looking for new opportunities, and writing with Gromee has been a new experience.

Lukas Meijer and Gromee recently travelled to London to perform at the Eurovision preparty.

Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer will represent Poland in the second Semi-Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon on the 10th of May.
