Denmark: Dansk Melodi Grand Prix presenters revealed

29 November 2011 at 12:10 CET

Emil Thorup spends his day job talking about sex as the presenter of the educational program "Sexministeriet" (Ministry of Sex) on DR whilst his colleague Louise Wolff has the role as studio host on the evening current events show, "Aftenshowet" (The Evening Show).

"On Aftenshowet I don't often wear sequins and my hair is hardly every as high, but joy and celebration... That is something close to my heart", says Louise.

"Louise is an incredibly talented presenter and she is very comfortable within herself and is calm, smily and loving. So it is a good pairing with me, who is a little weirder and likes to have fun every now and then. We pull eachother in the right direction and end up with a perfect compromise", promises Emil Thorup.

For three years Felix Smith presented Dansk Melodi Grand Prix but has switched over to rival broadcaster TV2 so DR has had to trawl through many different faces to find the perfect pair to present the show.
