The Danish broadcaster DR has released the first details about their upcoming national selection for Europe's favourite TV-show. The contest - Melodi Grand Prix - will be held in the city of Aalborg.

If the last time the show was preceded by several events, then this time it'll once again be a one-night extravaganza, to be held on the 6th of February.

Songs can now be sent in to DR until the 5th of October. Four entries will be given a wildcard by the broadcaster, six will be chosen by a jury from the songs sent it.

Tickets for the upcoming show will go on sale on the 28th of September at Billetnet.dk and post offices all over Denmark.

Denmark qualified for the Final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest with Brinck's Believe, penned by Ronan Keating amongst others. It finished thirteenth in Moscow.
