It's ten years since the Olsen Brothers took home victory for Denmark in Stockholm with the song Fly On The Wings Of Love. In 2010 Danish duo Chanée & Nevergreen hope to follow in their footsteps with the song In A Moment Like This.

A year later, in May 2001, a record breaking 35,000 people packed into Denmark's national stadium, Parken in Copenhagen to witness the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest. This contest captured the hearts of Danes and fans from all over the world with its unique venue and unforgettable hosts, who in the tradition of Hans Christian Andersen conducted the entire show in rhyming couplets. The then BBC commentator Terry Wogan also gave them the affectionate nicknames of "Doctor Death & The Tooth Fairy", which are still used today to describe Søren Pilmark and Natasja Crone's role as hosts... In the most positive of ways of course!

On this occassion Estonia took home victory when Dave Benton & Tanel Padar won the contest with the song Everybody, followed closely by Denmark who came near to a second victory in a row with Rollo & King and Never Ever Let You Go.

In 2010 Denmark's popular entrants, Chanée & Nevergreen have been kept busy with an unprecedented amount of attention, according to their record company. Their song seems to be commanding the admiration of fans all over Europe, being one of the most talked about entries this year.

One of their biggest tasks ahead of going to Oslo was to warm up a crowd of 40,000 people who had all gathered at Parken to see the X-Factor show, following in the footsteps of all the artists that performed there back in 2001.

"I think it's going to be amazing", says Christina Chanée, "You can really feel the rush of the crowd cheering out there. It goes straight to your stomach! It'll be good!"

She could certainly imagine how the X-Factor finalists felt saying, "It wasn't that long ago that we stood in Aalborg, and felt exactly the same. You are just so excited and have butterflies in your stomach and just hope that your nerves don't take over. It's good to have adrenaline but not too much".

In preparation for Oslo, the duo have recruited a choreographer to work on their stage act to give it more energy and dymanics. They are also working on a new album, which is to be released on the 21st of May.

Denmark has been drawn to perform 4th at the second semi final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest to be held at the Telenor Arena in Oslo on the 27th of May.
