Dalal Midhat Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen and Ana Rucner to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina

Today, the representatives of Bosnia & Herzegovina in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest have been announced in a press conference, broadcast live on the public TV channel BHT1: Dalal Midhat Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen and Ana Rucner!

Dalal Midhat Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen and Ana Rucner have been internally chosen to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina in Stockholm. Deen has already represented his home country in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul with In The Disco. Ana Rucner is a well-known cellist.

Their song will be presented to the public in a TV show in February.

For weeks the participation of Bosnia & Herzegovina in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest has been in doubt for financial reasons but today, public broadcaster BHRT has announced that due to sponsorship deals the problems have been solved.

Thus, we are happy to welcome back Bosnia & Herzegovina in the competition for the first time since 2012, when Maya Sar represented the country with Korake ti znam in Baku.
